Amanda Bushby
Amanda moved to the St. Catharine’s area in July 2017 to start up her pedorthic and orthotics practice OrthoFocus www.orthofocus.ca . Amanda had been working as a Canadian Certified Pedorthist for the past 12 years www.pedorthic.ca . Amanda graduated from Lakehead University in 2004 with a Honours Degree in Kinesiology. During her last year of Kinesiology she was introduced to the filed of Pedorthics and was very fascinated by the field. She then completed her Diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario in 2005 and obtained her Canadian Certified Pedorthist designation in November of 2005.
Amanda has served on the Pedorthic Association of Canada’s Insurance and Government Relations committee and the College of Pedorthics of Canada’s Ethics committee. She has also served as a private insurance consultant to the insurance industry. Amanda strives to educate and promote the field of pedorthics in Canada to the general public, medical professionals, and the insurance industry.
She's excited to join the Team at LIVA Health Centre and is available to serve on Tuesday's and Friday's.
